Interviewing is an important step in the application process for new campers.
We want to meet and get to know everyone we will be sharing space with before arriving on playa.
If you live near an existing member (SF, LA, NYC, SLC, Vancouver, San Juan) we would prefer to meet you in person over drinks. Otherwise we will arrange a time to meet online.
The goal of the interview step is to decide if 8-bit Bunny will be a good fit for you, determine how you will contribute to camp, and weed out creepers. It's also your chance to ask us questions that might not be answered in this guide.
Interviews typically take 45-90 minutes to complete. If you are a returning camper, you can skip this step, but if it's your first time camping with 8-bit Bunny, you must complete this process.
We will assign you an interviewer after your application is accepted, and you will hear from them directly to set up a time to get together.
We receive far more applications each year than we have space in camp, so please don't take it personally if we are unable to accept everyone. Ensuring group cohesion is more importat to us than growing the size of camp.
If you are an Instagram model looking for a spot in an RV, it's unlikely you will be accepted - in fact you're better off not even applying.
