The center of our camp is the steam sauna. We are currently utilizing the 3rd version of our sauna and the 14th iteration of our steam system.
Despite how it sounds, the sauna is refreshing in the desert. It cleans you more thorougly than a shower ever could and uses a fraction of the water.
Sauna hours:
- 10:00 am - Noon: Campers only
- Noon - 7:00 pm: Open to public
- 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Campers only
- 9:00 pm - Late: Open to public
If you want to be able to turn the sauna on yourself, please attend one of the training events in Oakland, CA.
Only campers are allowed to bring soap and shampoo into the sauna, due to Nevada regulations regarding public showers. For washing your hair, we provide high preasure sprayers. The sauan is cleaned twice a day.
