New 2025 All useers must participate in at least one project.

Leading a project means you will be responsible for every step of the project from conception to cleanup.

What's the difference between a project and a job?

A job is something that's mostly done on playa. A project is something where most of the work occurs off playa. Getting ice is a job, building a motorized ice cart is a project.

Will camp pay for my project?

Probably not. Fundraising is a big part of leading a project. We did not raise camp dues this year with the expecation that people will spend money on their project instead.
